Enclosed vehicle transportation is when cars are shipped in trailers that have walls and a roof, providing protection from the elements and other potential hazards during transport. These trailers are often used for transporting high-value or classic cars that require extra care and security.
Enclosed car transport is like a special way to move cars that keeps them extra safe. It’s really good for fancy or old cars. These special trucks can usually only carry a few cars at once, usually up to 7.
Enclosed car transport costs more than open car transport because it offers better protection. Generally, for regular-sized cars: short trips (1-500 miles) cost around $709, medium trips (500-1500 miles) cost about $929, and long trips (1500+ miles) cost approximately $1179.
Here are a few questions to ask yourself if you’re considering enclosed transport:
1. Is it a classic, luxury or collectible vehicle?
2. Are you concerned about harsh weather?
3. Are you concerned about debris or hazards your vehicle might encounter during transport?
4. Does it have any modifications?
If you answered yes to any of these questions, enclosed transport is the right choice for you.
Galacto Logistic service was excellent! We were consistently informed about the transportation process. The driver was very professional, polite and took excellent care of our Corvette. I highly recommend Galacto Logistic!
I really liked Galacto Logistics when they helped ship my SUV from Florida to CT. They were great at keeping in touch throughout the whole process. The driver let me know when he was picking up the SUV and when he was dropping it off. Everything happened on time and there were no problems. I would definitely use them again.

You can pack personal things weighing up to 100 pounds in a box or one big bag. These will go in the back of the car during the trip.
Sure! Your vehicle will be protected by the carrier’s insurance while it’s being transported. We also have our own backup insurance, which kicks in if the carrier’s insurance doesn’t cover everything. This backup insurance can give you up to $250,000 in coverage for any valid claims.
After you’ve ordered, we look for a truck driver to move your car. We’ll pick the best one and tell you when they’ll come. The driver will call you before they arrive to make sure everything’s good.
When you order something, you’ll get an idea of when it will arrive. This depends on how far it has to travel. Sometimes, your order might come quicker than expected.
We can’t track your shipment online. To get the most up-to-date location info, reach out to your trucker or email info@galactologistics.com.
